US B 1 VOLUNTEER VISA
Non-US citizens, wishing to visit the United States as
tourists, must generally first apply for a US Visitor (B) visa.
A little known fact, however, is that in most cases, the US
Visitor (B1) visa for business is available to international
members of a recognized US religious nonprofit
organization for participating in a voluntary
service program of the organization.
International visitors, who apply to volunteer with us
in Hawaii, are invited to request spiritual adoption from
New Haven Native American Church (NHNAC) in advance of applying for a US B-1 visa. Membership in NHNAC does not require any change in your current religious beliefs, the way you worship, or youraffiliation with any other religion.

For visa details, find the website of the U.S. Consulate or Embassy nearest you at http://www.usembassy.gov/
Depending upon the "reciprocity agreement" between the United States and your country, a B-1 visa may
be valid for just a few months or for up to ten years.
